Select Equal is an add-in command for Autodesk® AutoCAD®, similar to the Select Similar AutoCAD command with significant differences.

Select Equal command compares and selects all objects, equal to the selected object or selects all equal objects in the drawing. Resulting objects are added to the preselection.

Equal objects mean geometrically equal ones independently of their position in 3D space or color, layer, linetype, and lineweight properties.

A command is supposed to help users organize their drawings and simplify equal object findings, which otherwise could be quite time-consuming, especially for big drawings.

- Select the same-shape elements with a single click.

- Save time for block creation and block editing, just leave copied objects as is, or quickly convert them into block references later, if needed.

- Easily distinguish geometrically equal objects from visually equal ones.

lines, polylines (both 2D and 3D), arcs, circles, ellipses, splines, regions, surfaces, meshes, 3D solids, and 3D faces with polyface meshes.
