Descrição
BreakerWiring is a plugin for Autodesk® Revit® that expands the electrical work based on NEC NFPA 70 standard:
- Feeders and branch circuits calculation: The plugin allows you to discern what type of circuit is and calculates in a different form.
- Fault current: Fault current calculations of each panel if the user inserts the data.
- Overcurrent protection devices of each circuit: The plugin has a parameter that the user can change manually and control the Rating according to NFPA standards.
- Voltage drops: Data percentage of voltage permissible drop: 0.5 % to 5 %, it can be manually changed by the user, and this calculation can be done individually per circuit or
- Conductor coordination with overcurrent protection device: The plugin has the correction factors of temperature and group for conductor calculation and coordination with de overcurrent protection device rating.
- Load classification for circuits: The plugin has a parameter for each electrical circuit that allows to set the load classification, apart from the load classification of Autodesk Revit, to make calculations based on the plugin methods of panelboards.
- Wire sizing: According to the load of the circuit, for panelboards circuits can be used the Estimated Demand of Autodesk Revit or the demand calculation of the addin.
- Conduit sizing: According to the AWG of the circuit.
Panelboards methods: The app has 4 methods of calculations that expand the Load Classification and Demand factors of Autodesk Revit; also, a rvt file with a Panel Schedule has example:
- Non dwelling.
- Dwelling unit standard.
- Dwelling unit optional.
- Switchboard.
- Electrical circuit creation for calculations.
- Electrical equipment creation for calculations.
